Chris Harper

Mr. Christopher “Chris” Nathan Wishon Harper, age 41 of Ellijay, GA passed on Saturday, February 16th, 2019.

Mr. Harper was born on April 20th, 1977 in Ellijay, GA to his mother, Wanda Wishon Harper, and his late father, Lee Roy Harper. Chris was a 1995 graduate of Gilmer High School and worked in the shipping department at Pilgrim’s Pride in Ellijay. Chris was a member of Ocoee Lodge #201 F.A.&M. and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Harper.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Davis and Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Music and vocals will be by Martha Harper. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant (Buckhorn) Baptist Church Cemetery with Kelly Davis, Junior Partin, Larry Sales, Reggie Fleming, Riley Hedden, David Sales, Mark Harper, Eldridge Harper, and Brandon Harper all serving as pallbearers.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Wishon Harper of Ellijay, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Junior Partin of Ellijay, GA; niece and nephew, Kaylee and Coby Partin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
