Mr. Franklin D. Cantrell age 74 of jasper died Thursday April 18,2019.
Mr. Cantrell was born February 4,1945, in Cherokee County the son of the late Herbert Mitchell and Lillian Cearly Cantrell, he was a veteran serving with the US Navy and worked in construction. His parents and son Jerry Lee Cantrell preceded him in death.
Survivors include: daughters and son-in-laws; Tina and Guy Childers, Jasper, Debbie and Shane Hudson, Jasper, sons and daughters-in-law; Terry and Terry Cantrell, Pigeon Forge,TN,Frankie and Penny Cantrell, Jasper, and Misty Henson, Dahlonega, 9 grandchildren; Josh, Justin, Christi, Andrea, MaKalya, T.J., J.J., Austin, and Casey, 9 great-grandchildren, Camron, Kaliana, Euanee, Addison, Tayte, Brantley and Phoenix.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Ball Ground City cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Saturday from noon until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
