Mrs. Ella J. Stanley, age 81, of Ellijay, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

Mrs. Stanley was born April 30, 1938 in Dial Ga the daughter of Henry M. Stanley and Inez Sutton. She worked in the manufacturing industry and attended the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Romie Stanley,son; Scottie Stanley, siblings, Hugh Stanley, Warren G. Stanley, Ruth Middleton, Mildred Cornett, Harold Stanley, Larry Stanley and Bonnie Mae Stanley.

Daughters: Debbie Phillips, Holly Springs, Teresa Bryant, Ellijay, Sister; Bernice Young, Blue Ridge, 4 Michael Adams, Justin Phillips, Alex Bryant and Lucas Bryant. Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, great grandchildren; Allison, Sawyer and Brooklyn Adams, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones, Minister Cody Bearden and Minister David Mullins officiating. Interment will be in the Stanley Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
