Callie Lavada Fricks: Obituary

Mrs. Callie Lavada Fricks, age 89 of the Boardtown community of Ellijay, GA passed on Saturday October 19^th, 2019 at the Parkside Nursing Home.

Mrs. Fricks was born on January 28^th, 1930 in Lumpkin county to her late parents, Lester and Missouri Carney Crane. Callie was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church and retired from Gold Kist Poultry Corporation after 30 years of employment. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bealer Fricks, and sons Donald Fricks and Clayton Crane.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday October 21^st, 2019 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Davis and Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Music and vocals will be by Linda and Ronald Hyde. Interment will follow in the Nemberwill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega with Mack Logan, Gus Logan, Ted Logan, Clay Crane, John Crane, Chris Crane, and J.R. Manzo all serving as pallbearers.

Survivors include her children and in-laws; Leslie (David) Colwell, Doug (Sandra) Fricks, David (Carolyn) Fricks all of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Brittany Manzo, Sarah Smith, Clay, John, and Chris Crane; great-grandchildren, Asher Manzo, Austin and Kristin Crane, Cierra Brady; great-great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kylie, and Caden Brady, Wyatt and Gage Crane.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the service hour at 2:00pm on Monday October 21^st at the Logan Funeral Home.
