Mr. Sellers was born October 25, 1938, in Cherokee County ,the son of the late Paul and Mary Jo Ray Sellers. He was a 1956 graduate of Gilmer High School, and a 1961 graduate of the University of North Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Business, served is a Captain in the U.S. Army and was a Licensed Insurance and Real Estate Agent.
Survivors include; wife: Judy Sellers, sons and daughters-in-law: Jeremy and Jennifer Sellers, and Jared Sellers all of Ellijay, Joe and Kellie Sellers, Canton, daughter and son-in-law: Jeanne and John Brown, Dallas, sister and brother-in-law: Mary Ann and Donald Reece, Ellijay, grandchildren; Garrett, Taylor, Adam and Paul Sellers.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Chastain and Stacey Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Thursday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
