Mrs. Jeanette McArthur Royston, age 82 of Austell, GA formerly of Ellijay, passed on Tuesday January 7th, 2020 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell. She was born July 2nd, 1937 in Ellijay to her late parents Everett D. and Gertrude (Miller) McArthur. Jeanette was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1955, Young Harris College and Georgia State University. She retired as an administrative assistant from Lockheed Martin and attended Cartecay United Methodist Church. During her retirement years, Jeanette enjoyed documenting her family’s genealogy and was an avid reader. Mrs. Royston is preceded in death by her husband, Julius Barton (JB) Royston Jr., brothers, Harley McArthur and Jerry McArthur. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday January 10th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the Cartecay Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Royston is survived by her daughter, Linda Gertrude Chambers of Jacksonville, FL, step-sons and daughters-in-laws, Bart and Julie Royston of Jonesboro, GA, Joel Royston and Patti Corriveau of Plant City, FL, Gene and Angela Royston of Hernando, MS, step-daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Barney Flanders of Carrollton, GA, grandchildren, Amber Marie Chambers, Tiffany Alexis Chambers, step-grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Jason, Justin, Hannah, Russ, Rachel and great-granddaughter, Lacey Marie Connolly, step-great grandchildren Blaine, Wyatt, Leah, Aria, Percy, Jasper, Ayla, sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Tom Tabor of Marietta, GA.
