PRESS RELEASE – Please be advised that the 2024 Georgia Apple Blossom Festival has been canceled.
This decision was made with our utmost concern for the well-being of our staff, vendors, and visitors in mind.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather conditions statement for the upcoming weekend, and we must prioritize the safety of all involved.
Although the festival has been cancelled, we encourage you to partake in the other activities and celebrations taking place this holiday weekend if it is safe to do so.
The Ellijay Songwriter’s Festival will proceed as planned, visit their website for further details.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Again, we are truly sorry for the cancellation, and we wish you all a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend in Ellijay.
