The Gilmer Bobcats traveled to Fannin County to take on their old HWY 515 foe on the hardwood. Gilmer entered the game on a high, coming off of a 70-33 victory over Copper Basin. Fannin also came into the game off of a win, as they had defeated Lumpkin County 51-33 the day before.
Both teams fought hard, but Gilmer took the victory by a score of 63-52. Both teams will face off again on Monday, December 3oth, this time in Ellijay.
Gilmer now sits at 6-5 on the season and 1-1 in Region play, while Fannin is 6-4 and 3-1 in Region play.
