Mrs. Glenda Sue Gilreath Smith age 69 of Lakeside Park Court, Ellijay, GA passed away Wednesday December 29, 2010.Mrs. Smith was born on April 7, 1941 in Walker Co. She is the daughter of the late James Luther Gilreath & Nellie Lou Brown Gilreath. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Eugene Smith, sisters: Carmie harper and Clara Wilson; and brothers: Johnny, Harley, Earl, and Clarence Gilreath.
Survivors include: Daughters and sons-in-law: Darlene Gooch, Blue Ridge, Tammy and Joe Laster, Commerce Carol Smith and Eugene Payne, Ellijay Sons and daughter-in-law: Lamar Smith, Ellijay Chris and Amy Smith, Cleveland Sister: Mary Lee Brock, Rossville 16 Grandchildren 28 Great grandchildren Special Friend: James Demay of the home
Funeral services will be held Friday December 31, 2010 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Mealor and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Thursday, December 30th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
