Fans, Football, & Snow – oh my

Team FYN Sports

How many of you hallucinated last week-end? Me too! – I thought I saw the Saints go down – the Jets beat Payton and I am waiting to wake up – no wait – the dream is getting better – Packers put it on the Eagles –and much like my ever predicting spouse- I am relieved I don’t have to listen to a week of speculation about Vick going to Atlanta blah blah blah.

I waited all week-end for a game changing interception – Green Bay delivered! Now Green Bay is going to Atlanta – will be a great game! Two great teams going to battle it out! Now – maybe the disgruntled anti-Vick population will find it easier to forgive Vick since he lost! People can and should find a way to forgive others and themselves. We should never allow our lives to be riddled by guilt -but we should remember along with that self forgiveness we must achieve a self awareness that we all have an inward nature that can go either way. We all need the proper guidance, self control, and ability to feel compassion or we do not function on a normal level of humanity. Our own capabilities are terrifying at best. God can overcome the greatest of flaws with forgiveness but the response to accept this new nature is in the free will of man! Funny how we are so unrelenting in giving out something we all expect others to give liberally. We just keep waiting… We waited to see the outcome of the games and now we are waiting for the snow.

Fans enjoyed unpredictable outcomes in the playoff games. Now we can see how well the weatherman predicted the snow! And whether we like it or not they will still debate the “greatness of Vick” and the “should he be allowed to be great” controversy. It is easy to exemplify character when you’re winning –let’s see how he handles the loss and then paleeze can we talk about the players that are still in the playoffs! Of course if we are snowed in long enough I guess there’s time for both!
