Mrs. Arlene Burrell Teague age 79 of Yukon Rd, Ellijay died Friday January 28, 2011. Mrs. Teague was born on April 23, 1931 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Clifford Burrell and Esther Cloninger Burrell. She worked at White Columns Restaurant as a cook and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurston Teague and sons, Alvin Teague and Johnny Michael Teague.
Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law: Renee and Bobby Nix, Ellijay; Sons and daughter-in-law: Clarence Teague, Randy Teague, and Ricky and Darlene Teague, all of Ellijay; 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; Sisters: Willene St. Clair, Decatur, Clestene Teague, Ellijay; Special Friends: Peggy Hall, Rita Richards, and Billy Bernhardt, all of Ellijay.
Funeral services will be held Sunday January 30, 2011 at 4pm from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Chris Chastain officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 29 from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
