Mrs. Ruby Ann Cochran Ridings: Obituary

Mrs. Ruby Ann Cochran Ridings age 90 of Ellijay died Monday February 14, 2011.

Mrs. Ridings was born on May 10, 1920 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Henry Cochran & Rosie Beavers Cochran. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Turniptown Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Ridings, Sr.

Survivors Include: Son & daughter-in-law: Charles, Jr. & Judy Ridings, Harrisburg, NC; Brother: R. J. Cochran, Ellijay; Sister: Reba Lee Long, Blue Ridge; 3 Grandchildren: Donna Klutz, Colonial Heights, VA, Bobby Ridings, Matthews, NC, Billy Ridings, Murrells Inlet, SC; 5 Great grandchildren; 1 Great great-grandchild; Numerous nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 16, 2011 at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will be in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday February 15th from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
