Minnie Lee Evans Dockery age 77, of the Yukon Community, Ellijay, Ga. passed from this life on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 from her residence.A member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, born on February 2nd, 1934 to her late parents, John Henry and Etha Reece Evans in Ellijay, Ga., the last of 11 siblings. She was employed for 42 years as a baker at Bakery and Confection. Ms. Dockery is preceded in death by sisters Della West, Dulah Reece, Pluma Strickland, Opal Evans and brothers Doyle Evans, Ben Evans, Ernest Evans, Carl Evans, Clarence Evans, Calvin Evans.

Survivors include companion of 33 years, Mr. Burley Parks of Ellijay, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 18th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dotson and Min. Butch Jones officiating, music and song performed by Rev. Irene Wofford. Interment services will follow in the Clear Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Parks, Hoyt Garland, Mike Huff, Jr., Mark Huff, and Michael Evans.

Family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Brent Sanford, 187 Bible Baptist Road, Ellijay, Ga. 30536 in memory of Ms. Dockery.
