Mrs. Norma Sue Garland Pinson age 68 of River St. Ellijay died Thursday February 17, 2011.Mrs. Pinson was born on April 24, 1942 in Gilmer Co. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Garland Lumber Co. She was also a member of the Turniptown Baptist Church. Her father Bud Garland precedes her in death.

Survivors Include: Husband: Ernest Pinson of the home; Daughter & son-in-law: Brandy & Mark Pritchett, Ellijay; Sons: Jason Shane Pinson & Dustin Ernest Shawn Pinson both of Ellijay; Mother: Mattie Garland, Ellijay; Brother: Danny Garland, Ellijay; 2 Nephews: Adam & Chase Garland.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 21, 2011 at 3pm from the Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Kerr & Rev. Roy Scott officiating.

Interment will be in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery followed by a white dove release.

Visitation will be held Saturday Feb. 19th from 12pm until 9pm and all day Sunday Feb. 20th until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
