Helen Dilbeck Best age 80 of Ellijay, Ga. passed from this life on Friday, February 25th, 2011 from the Gilmer Nursing Home.She was born December 2nd, 1930 to her late parents, Walter William and Florence Bailey Dilbeck in Hot House, N.C. and was a member of Turniptown Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband John Junior Best and grandchild Jamie Best.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Tony Lapp of McDonough,Ga., Judy & Jett Wilson of Appling, Ga., Kathy and Dale Henson of Ellijay, Ga., Tammy and Michael Vick of Ellijay, Ga., sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Bonnie Best of Aiken, S.C., Jerry & Carrel Best of Harlem, Ga., Jimmy D. Best of Grovetown, Ga., Billy and Martha Best of Jasper, Ga., 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Dilbeck Pettit of Ellijay, Ga., Thelma Dilbeck Marcel of Hephzibah, Ga., brothers Harold Dilbeck of Ellijay, Ga., Reed Dilbeck of Ellijay, Ga. and Ralph Dilbeck of Canton, Ga.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Monday, February 28th, 2011 from Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Henson officiating, family will be speaking. Music will be performed by Scott Sanford and vocals by Christy Williams and also Charles and Jean Henson. Interment services will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Best, Jerry Best, Billy Best, Jimmy Best, Jeremy Best, Brent Wilson, Jonathan Henson, Dylan Vick, Brennon Lapp, Brayden Lapp, Zack Henson, David Henson, Shawn Foshee.

Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at Logan Funeral Home.
