Mrs. Martha Jean McKinney age 72 of White Pen Rd. Talking Rock, GA died Wednesday March 16, 2011.

Mrs. McKinney was born on July 31, 1938 in Cobb County. She is the daughter of the late John Brookshire and Mary Katherine New Brookshire. She worked in housekeeping at the North GA Medical Center and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert McKinney and a son Randy McKinney.

Survivors include: Daughters: Judy Morgan, Talking Rock, Rita Parker, Jasper; Sons: Mark & Richard McKinney, Ellijay; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great grandchildren; Sister: Katherine McCray, Acworth; Several nieces & nephews also survive

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 19, 2011 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Compton officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday March 18th from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
