Wednesday’s scheduled softball doubleheader at Bailey Park between the Kennesaw State Owls and the UAB Blazers has been postponed due to heavy rain approaching the Kennesaw area. All efforts are being made to schedule a make-up date.The Owls (16-12, 2-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) travel to Samford Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader, beginning at 5 p.m. EDT, and will host Stetson on Saturday at Bailey Park at 1 p.m. in their 2011 A-Sun home-opener. They play two more at home against Florida Gulf on Sunday, with first pitch also scheduled for 1 p.m.
