As Fetchyournews.com reported earlier this week, the Build an Ark Animal Rescue Center on Highway 382 West, southwest of Ellijay, was destroyed by Monday night’s storms. The operator of the center, Susan Littlejohn, has asked us to reach out to the local community for donations.

In order for Susan and her staff to care for the animals, the following items are needed:

*A wooden storage building of any size

*Transportation: A loaner truck and a 4-wheeler or golf cart

*A camper to house an on-site caretaker

*Animal Feed: “All Stock” brand dog, cat, rabbit, and guinea pig food

*Sheep shears

*Portable horse and cow panels

Volunteers are needed from 10am-5pm to help rebuild the center.
