It is always a good thing when a good time and a good cause come together. A crowd gathered Saturday night to show their support for a fundraising event benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, “The Hike.” Introduction to the evening was presented by Sara Stembridge, Carol Stembridge (participant) and Wanda Sandels.

The food was great and the music was entertaining. The silent auction consisted of items mostly donated by Ms. Stembridge or her family and friends, and included a guitar autographed by Alan Jackson.
