Mr. James Willard Lowman age 95 of Laurel Trail Ellijay died Friday April 15, 2011.
Mr. Lowman was born on July 21, 1915 in Gilmer Co. He is the son of the late Angus M. Lowman and Laura Reece Lowman. He worked in the automotive industry and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Bamma Mullinax Lowman.
Survivors include: Sons & daughters-in-law: Jim & Patsy Lowman,Washington Township, MI, Bill & Lynn Lowman, DeFord, MI; Sisters: Opal Chastain, Ellijay, Bonnie Fay West, Canton; 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 19th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Monday, April 18th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
Family request no food be brought to the Funeral Home.
