Mr. Leon J. Weaver age 65 of Scenic View Dr. Jasper, Ga. died Saturday April 23,2011.
Mr. Weaver was born December 6,1945 in Gilmer Co the son of the late Rev. Homer and Cleo Hagin Weaver. He was a member of the Riverhill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Aaron Weaver and sister Hazel Cantrell.
Survivors include: Sisters and brothers-in-law, Willie and Charles Holt, Cumming, GA., Pete Bryant, Jasper, GA., Lois Schrock, Ellijay, Ga., Jenny and Madison Painter, Ellijay, GA.; Sister-in-law Opal Weaver, Cumming, GA. and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 11:00am from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in the Scrougetown Cemetery.
Family will recieve friends Monday, April 25th from 10am until 9pm.
