Darell V. Sanford : Obituary

Darell V. Sanford, age 44, of the Tailscreek Community, Ellijay, Ga. passed from this life on Monday evening, May 9, 2011 at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.Mr. Sanford is survived by his wife Lora Davis Sandford of the home in Ellijay, Ga.; sons: Cameron D. Sanford and Collen D. Sanford of Ellijay, Ga.; Mother, Virginia Farist Sanford of Ellijay, Ga.; sister, Sandra Sanford of Ellijay, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law Dewell and Susan Sanford of Ellijay, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 13th, from The Pleasant Gap Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Brondy Davis, Rev. Emmett Burgess, Rev. Eddie Kerr, Rev. Wade Davis and Rev. Allan Cain. Graveside interment services will be at The Pleasant Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends starting at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday evening and the family will receive friends starting at 2:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
