Gilmer County began charging for residential trash disposal on April 4th. FYN asked the Chairman Commissioner JC Sanford for an update on how the charge per bag plan was working so far. The trash for cash program is operating on a 90 day trial basis to assist the county in determining what kind of a final plan will be put in place.
