Mary Oma Griggs Joyce, age 83, of Ellijay, Ga., passed from this life Sunday, June 5th, 2011 from the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, Ga.
Mrs. Joyce was born August 26th, 1927 to her late parents, Charlie Lee and Emma Craig Griggs in Ellijay, Georgia. She was a homemaker, preceded in death by husband, James A. Joyce.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Scott officiating, music and song by Rev. Irene Wofford. Graveside service will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Nieces and nephews survive.
Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
