A storm came through last night bringing high winds which resulted in damages and also many downed power lines. FYN received the following update today, Monday June 20th, regarding restoration efforts. Latest update for power restoration efforts:

Update
Approx 800 members are without power across our service area. Those outages are primarily in Gilmer County, with scattered outages in Cherokee, Dawson and Lumpkin. We are now estimating that all power will be restored today, although restoration for many may be into the evening and late evening hours.
