Mr. Jonathan Ray Longwell, age 31, of the Tailscreek Community, Ellijay, Ga., passed from this life July 17th, 2011 from the North Georgia Medical Center. He was born August 23rd, 1979 to his mother Glenda Gay Longwell and father Ricky Alan Mashburn in Dalton, Ga. Mr Longwell was employed as a kriller at Mohawks Carpets.
Survivors include mother and step-father Glenda and William Stafford of Ellijay, Ga.; sisters Jennie Jenkins of Chatsworth, Ga., Juanita Sutton of Ellijay, Ga.; five nieces and two nephews; special friend, Mary Simonds of Ellijay, Ga.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, July 20th,2011, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Tails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20th, 2011 until the time of the service.
