Lloyd W. Prather : Obituary

Mr. Lloyd w. Prather age 88 of Jasper GA died July 20, 2011.

Mr. Prather was born June 4, 1923 in Pickens Co. He is the son of the late Lee W. Prather and Gladys Frazer Prather. He worked at the Shoe Plant in Jasper as a supervisor in shoe cutting department. Mr. Prather was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper and a US Army WWII Veteran.

Survivors Include: Wife: Elizabeth Mullinax Prather, of the home; Son: Frazier Prather, Jasper; Daughter-in-law: Martha Prather, Jasper; 1 Grandchild: Heather Prather, Jasper.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 23 at 2pm from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, GA with Rev. Bill Lawrence officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jasper City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 22nd from 3pm and 9pm at the Roper Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made the First Baptist Church in Jasper or the Jasper City Cemetery in memory of Mr. Prather.
