Cora Elizabeth Jones : Obituary

Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Jones age 76 of Ellijay died Sunday August 14, 2011.

Mrs. Jones was born on February 7, 1935 in Dawsonville, GA. She is the daughter of the late Sam Ingram and Pearl Holtzclaw Ingram. She was a homemaker and a life member of the Corinth Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. She is preceded in death by brothers, Will Ingram, Hubert Ingram, Preston Ingram, James Ingram, Tom Bell Ingram, Dan Ingram, and Sisters Myrte Evans, Ina Mooney and Bessie Sheriff.

Survivors Include: Husband: Eugene Jones, Ellijay; Daughters & son-in-law: Brenda & Jim Davis, Chatsworth, Deborah Glover, Ellijay; Son & daughter-in-law: Jamie & Stephanie Jones, Ellijay; 7 Grandchildren; 1 Great grandchild; Mother-in-law: Jo Hazel Wood, Ellijay; Brothers-in-law & spouses: Ermel & Ann Jones Annerson, CA, Mack & Linda Wood, East Ellijay, George & Carol Wood, Hixon, TN, Roy Wood, Milmar Beach, FL, Richard Wood, East Ellijay, Steve Jones, Jonesboro, GA; Sisters-in-law: Nancy Ingram, Cumming, GA Cheryl Zellinger, Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 18, 2011 at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, GA with Rev. Danny Cochran & Bro. Larry Reece officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday Aug. 17th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 2:30pm.

Flowers are acceptable or donation may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in memory of Mrs. Jones.
