Patrick James Ryder, age 63 passed away August 19, 2011. Born December 5, 1947 in Arlington, MA, he is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hazel and step mother Roberta. Pat graduated from Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA and went to St. Norbert’s College, Green Bay, Wisconsin in September 1966. A car accident in 1968 left him a paraplegic, and after rehabilitation he graduated from Kings College, Scranton, PA in 1973. He later attended Western State College, CA and attained his Jurist Doctorate. While living in Duluth, GA he practiced law at all levels of the Georgia Judicial system.
He is survived by his sister Maryellen Van Tassell, her husband Lewis and their children Bill Foster, Julianne Gant, of Kennesaw, and Michelle Pradhan of St. Louis, MO; brother Brian, his wife Lynda and their children Erin and Evan of Littleton, CO; brother Jim and wife Cynthia and their children Chelsea and Catherine of Laguna Nigel, CA; and his brother Churck Ryder, his wife Nancy and their children Bridget and Brianne of St. Louis, MO. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
