Lucille Ballew : Obituary

Miss Lucille Ballew, age 86, of Tails Creek Rd. Ellijay, Ga. died Saturday Sept. 10, 2011.

Miss Ballew was born July 3, 1925 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Lafayette and Alice Sanford Ballew. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the 11th Avenue Baptist Church in Dalton. She was preceeded in death by brothers: L.L. Ballew, James Ballew, sister,Gertha Davis.

Survivors: Sisters and Brother: Wylene Payne, Ellijay, Nena and J.V. Silvers, Crandell: Brother and sister, Leeman and Agnes Ballew, Ellijay, Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks, Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Eddie Kerr. Interment will be in Pleasant Gap Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday Sept.12,2011 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm. Bernhardt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
