Library Budget Hearing

During the Tuesday, November 1st Budget Hearing, Brandy Resendez submitted the library budget request for next year. Resendez’s requested expenditures for next year is $273,882. The request is the same as its budgeted expenditures for this year. In an effort to reduce the overall county budget, Post 2 Commissioner Danny Hall asked if Resendez could cut expenditures. She said that if they do cut any expenditure, it would be in the form of personnel. Resendez also said that the library is having maintenance issues with the new building, which accounted for some of her expenses.

Watch the BOC discuss the library’s 2012 Budget.
