Mr. Howard Alan Blumer age 52 of Harris Branch Rd. Ellijay died Sunday November 13, 2011.
Mr. Blumer was born on April 1, 1959 in Valparaiso, IN. Mr. Blumer was retired from the US Air Force after serving 29 years. He was also a member of the Holly Creek Baptist Church in Chatsworth.
Survivors include: Wife: Ana Blumer, of the Home; Son: Josh Blumer, Woodstock, GA; Daughters: Shannon Blumer, Woodstock, GA, Melissa Blumer, Waleska, GA; Parents: James & Patricia Blumer, IN; Brothers: Dan, Greg, Jim, and John Blumer all of IN; Special Nephew: Brain Blumer, NC
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran & Rev. John Bagley officiating.
Interment will be held in the GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Military rites by the US Military.
Visitation will be held Tuesday November 15th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
