Hattie Marie Parks Smith age 63 of Talking Rock, GA passed on Friday, December 2nd, 2011 from her residence.Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5th,2011 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Richards and Rev. Wallace Parks will be officiating. Interment service will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include husband of 46 years, C. L. Smith of the home in Talking Rock; daughters and son-in-law, Tracey and James Passmore of Nantahala, NC, Anissie Smith Passmore of Aquone, NC; sons and daughters-in-law; Bryson and Tracey Smith, Bevlin and Sandy Smith all of Ellijay, GA; sisters Kathleen Parks Pate of Chatsworth, GA, Odell Parks Stacey of Talking Rock, GA; brothers David Parks of Lancaster, Michigan, Bernie Parks and Donald Parks of Talking Rock, GA. 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 Sunday, December 4th, 2011 at the Logan Funeral Home, Ellijay.
