Mr. John B. Sieber age 68 died Monday December 12,2011 and Mrs. Nancy M. Sieber age 64 died Thursday December 15, 2011 at their residence following lengthy illnesses.
Mr. Sieber was born March 25, 1943 in Gadsden, Al the son of the late Joseph and Mary Helen Sieber. He was retired from Motorola Communications Co and was a veteran serving with the US Army. He was preceded in death by a brother: Shane Sieber.
Mrs. Seiber was born November 28, 1947 in Robinsville, NC the daughter of the late Harvey and Rosetta Vandergriff. She was retired from The Georgia Department of Transportation were she worked as a secretary in the Ellijay Office. She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary.
Survivors include: Children: Terri Thompson, Marietta, Julie and John Lane, Crosby,TN. Grandchildren, Hannah and Miranda Thompson, Christopher and Maycie Lane. Mr. Sieber is survived by Brothers: Zane Sieber, FL, Matt Seiber, Satellite Beach, FL, Sisters: Marsha Dourrieu Palm Bay, FL, Debbie Kennedy, Gainesville, Ga. Mrs. Sieber is survived by Brother: Harvey Vandergriff, Madison, GA and sister: Norma Braselton, Cumming,Ga.
Memorial services will be held Monday December 19,2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon cemetery.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Georgia Mountains Hospice 70 Caring Way Jasper, GA. 30143 in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Sieber.
The family will meet with friends Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
