Mrs. Edith Davis Morrow age 84 of Turniptown Rd. Ellijay died Thursday January 12, 2012.
Mrs. Morrow was born on May 21, 1927 in Monroe Co., TN. She is the daughter of the late Fred Davis and Ethel Roberts Davis. Mrs. Morrow was a member of the Turniptown Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte Morrow and a granddaughter Marla Nichole Walker.
Survivors include: Husband: Glenn Morrow of the home; Son & daughter-in-law: Doug & Cindy Morrow, Ellijay; Sister: Bea Irons, Powell, TN; Grandchildren: Maria Walker, John Morrow, Amelia Walker & Julie Morrow Day; Great grandchildren: Benjamin & Caleb Morrow & Callie Day; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday January 15, 2012 at 3 p.m. from the Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Pettit and Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will be in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday January 14th from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
Family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
