Somewhere, Over the Rainbow

While listening to Obama’s (peace be upon him) State of the Union speech, I quickly lost count of the number of lies, distortions, and fabrications he made because (1), there were too many and (2), I might have nodded off once or twice because I’ve heard them all before.His performance was one of rankling fraudulence, his “happy talk” remindful of Dorothy’s dream of a wonderful utopia, “somewhere over the rainbow”. But, it’s not to be. Tim Geithner will not get a heart, Barney Frank will not get a medal, Harry Reid will not get a brain and Nancy Pelosi will not get her Speakers chair back. The curtain has been pulled back on the Obama of Oz; Toto has been eaten and us munchkins will still be living under mushrooms.

What was glaringly apparent in that performance was the fact that the POTUS is engaged in a measured fight against American’s and wealth creation with an ordered and conscious malevolence. He displayed a curious blindness to the solutions that could save America and his presidency. Why should this be so? Because he clings, as a drowning man will, to the flotsam of failure that passes by, to his entrenched, unshakable philosophy of top down socialism, learned at the knees of his mother and grandparents; that rigid belief that only big government can possibly have the solutions for a happy and prosperous populace. Don’t you feel better now?

He is possessed of the singular belief that individual self assurance, independence and capitalism are simply wicked schemes by the greedy to enslave workers. That it is only “fair” that all should suffer misery equally; that no man should have more than the other (except him and his cronies, of course) and that we should all live without air conditioning.

Also apparent was the fact that the policy goals he articulated for America and American’s were just old, re-hashed ideas that have already been rejected by the congress. He speaks about raising taxes to reduce the deficit but he has no budget upon which to base a spending plan. He didn’t even mention his Obamacare plan which starts exploding in our faces in 2013. He laments America’s “crumbling” infrastructure, and promises wonderful energy solutions yet wants to buy oil and airplanes from George Soros owned companies in Brazil while disallowing either the entry of Canadian oil or our own extraction of gas and oil, and yet, he claims credit for an expanding economy with the creation of new energy sources, all of which have since gone bankrupt. Yet, he still clings to Chevy Volts for all and, If you are required to buy his insurance, then any burn treatment suffered by you as a result of the fires in Volts, are covered.

House Speaker John Boehner opined after the speech that he believes Obama (peace be upon him) has stopped leading, indeed has simply walked away from his job. They haven’t met in over a month, said Boehner, to discuss any political issues then before the congress. They haven’t even played golf together in all that time. The POTUS’s message was clearly designed to tell American’s that government was going to do everything for everybody and to pay for it, take what is left from those that have it, because it’s “only fair”.

The ship of state is rudderless; there is no Captain Oz at the wheel. The rocks and shoals are fast approaching upon which our nation will surly flounder if this man is given another four years. The ship was sailing for the Emerald City; surely It’s somewhere over the Rainbow!

Republicans are not going to find the perfect candidate so, let’s get on with the business of selecting someone, anyone, to face down this purveyor of Marxism; someone who can decisively defeat B.H. Obama (peace be upon him). Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Go get ‘em!
