Mrs. Buena Vista Coffey Burnett age 78 of Page Circle, Ellijay, GA died Monday February 13, 2012.
Mrs. Burnett was born on August 15, 1933 in Gilmer Co. to the late Lewis Coffey and Hattie Tatum Coffey. She was a custodian for the Gilmer County School System and was a member of the Turniptown Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Burnett, and her son, Mike Burnett.
Survivors include: Daughter: Vicki Carroll, Bryson City, NC; 4 Grandchildren: Wesley Davis, Ellijay, Laura Turner, Cumming, James Burnett, Atlanta, Valerie Burnett, VA; 3 Great grandchildren: Grace Turner, Rylan Turner, Abby; Sisters: Ora Belle Smith, Ellijay, Geneva Bowen, FL, Judy Jackson, TN; Brother: Robert Coffey, Ellijay.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Interment will be held in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 15 from 4pm until 9pm and all day Thursday, February 16 until 9 p.m. at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
