Ms. Bertie Mae Stokes Silvers age 67 of Knight Rd., Ellijay died Friday March 9, 2012.
Ms. Silvers was born October 29, 1944 in Gilmer County to the late Homer Stokes and Emma Vesta Weaver Stokes. She worked for Osborne Farms and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by brothers Wendell and Tony Stokes.
Survivors include: Daughters and son-in-law: Anita and Richard Ingram, Renee Nicholson, all of Ellijay; Sons and daughters-in-law: Clifford and Marie Silvers, Thomas and Laura Silvers, Johnny Silvers, all of Ellijay; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great grandchildren; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Bennie Lee and Pete Watson, Margaret and Luke Osborne, Rita Tathum,Cheryl Stokes, Janice Colwell,Sandra and Tony Holloway, all of Ellijay; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Herman and Glenda Stokes, Sonnie Stokes, Bobby and Diane Stokes, Ricky and Linda Stokes, Winston and Kay Stokes, Walter and Christy Stokes, all of Ellijay.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday March 11, 2012 at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Emuel Sanford and Rev. Curtis Easley officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 11th from 12noon until the funeral hour at 3pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
