Mr. Edward Joseph Salettel age 92 of Ravencliff Rd., Talking Rock died Sunday March 11, 2012
Mr. Salettel was born on December 30, 1919 in Cleveland, OH. He is the son of the late John Salettel and Fannie Virant Salettel. He was a retired civil servant having worked for the United States Postal Service. He served with the U.S. Army in WWII and was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church.
Survivors include: Wife of over 69 years: Grace Salettel, of the home; Son and Fiance`: Ed & Cheryl Salettel, Talking Rock, GA; Grandchildren and in-laws: Eddie and Jill Salettel, Beaver Dam, WI, Tania and James Trovieso, Ocala, FL; Great grandchildren: Summer Grace, Anika Byrn, E.J. Salettel, Justin, Andrew, and Jordan Trovieso; Former daughter-in-law: Theresa Salettel, FL
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 2pm from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Randy Mattox officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday March 14th from 11am until 1pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Catholic Church building fund, 25 Church Street, Ellijay, GA 30540.
