Connie Kinser Holbrooks : Obituary

Mrs. Connie Kinser Holbrooks age 62 of Ellijay, GA, passed from this life on Monday, March 19th, 2012. She was a member of the River Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Robert Shaw Controls after 17 years of employment. Mrs. Holbrooks was born January 13th, 1950 to her late parents James Lester and Mary Opal Watson Kinser in Ellijay, GA.

Survivors include husband of 45 years Rev. Carroll Holbrooks of the home in Ellijay; daughters and sons-in-law Christy and Jamie Powell of Ellijay, Brandy and John McClure of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law Kathi and Tommy Freeman of Chattanooga, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law Rev. David and Hilda Kinser of Jasper, GA, Gene and Patsy Kinser of Ooletewah, TN; grandchildren Brandon Powell, Jacob Powell, Cole Powell, Issac McClure, Lexie McClure.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 22nd, 2012 at the River Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Eddie Kerr officiating. Music and song performed by the Cross Roads Choir. Graveside interment will follow in the River Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marcus Kinser, Aaron Freeman, Michael Freeman, Ryan Weaver, John McClure, Jamie Powell and grandchildren Brandon Powell, Jacob Powell, Cole Powell, Issac McClure and Lexie McClure.

The family willl receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20th and Wednesday, March 21st at the Logan Funeral Home.
