Ruby Parker Martin : Obituary

Mrs. Ruby Lee Parker Martin, age 74, of Gates Chapel Rd. Ellijay, Ga. died Saturday March 31, 2012.

Mrs. Martin was born on October 21, 1937 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Delmer Harper and Billie Lovingood Harper. She was retired from Highland Rivers Center where she was a social worker. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Calvary Way Baptist Church and a Board Member of the Community Action Agency. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Lew Parker, Sr. and Baxter Morgan Martin.

Survivors include: Sons & daughters-in-law: Buddy & Wilma Boggs, NC, Kim Parker, Chatsworth, Harold Parker, Larry & Kathy Parker & Bobby, Jr., & Sandy Parker all of Ellijay; Daughter: Susan McClure, Dalton, GA; Step-children & spouses: Keith & Brenda Martin, Gary & Kim Martin, Teresa & Billy Weeks all of Ellijay, Tarrell & Tina Martin, Chatsworth, GA, Jeff & Sandra Williams, Cartersville, GA; Sister & brother-in-law: Ruth & Donald Evans, Douglasville, GA; 29 Grandchildren, Several great grandchildren & Special friend Jackie Meadows; Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 2pm from the Calvary Way Baptist Church.

Interment will be in the Calvary Way Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 2nd from 12 noon until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
