Georgia Master Gardeners Help Plant Beans with Boys and Girls Club
Community June 7, 2012
The Georgia Master Gardeners decided to help out the Boys and Girls Club after they attended a state conference. At the conference, they were told that working with children was extremely pleasant, so they decided to give it a try. Thursday, June 07, 2012 was the first time that they decided to start working with the Boys and Girls Club. In two weeks, the Georgia Master Gardeners will come back to transfer the plants from Styrofoam cups to biodegradable shoeboxes. They are doing this so the kids can put the shoeboxes in their own gardens and watch them as their beans grow without harming the environment.
