Mrs. Stella Moss Hawkins age 75 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday June 7, 2012.Mrs. Hawkins was born Jan. 27, 1937 in Pickens County, to the late Arthur Moss and Mary Mullins. She was a Homemaker and member of the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hawkins is preceded in death by husband, Claude Hawkins, son, Claude Hawkins Jr., parents, brothers, Coy, Claude, M.T., and Butch Moss, sisters, Naomi Cleo Wright, Minnie Eller, and Ethel Buckner.
Survivors Include: Daughter: Libby Hudson, Ellijay; Sons: Gary Leon Hawkins, Dalton, GA, Donnie Moss, Ellijay, Newman Kent Hawkins, Cleveland, TN; Sisters: Mattie Morris and Ruby Banks, both of Ellijay; 8 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews
Funeral Services will be held Friday June 8th at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright and Pastor Irene Wofford officiating.
Family will receive friends Friday June 8th from 11am until 4pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home
