Mrs. Lucy N. Jett age 63 of East Ellijay died Thursday June 14, 2012.

Mrs. Jett was born on August 22, 1948 in Ellijay, GA. She is the daughter of the late Robert H. Nichols and Daisy Liles Nichols. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jett and a brother Robert “Bud” Nichols.

Survivors include: Daughter & son-in-law: Debra & Dwight Childers, Jasper; Grandson: Dylan Childers, Jasper; Sisters & brother-in-law: Betty Joe James, Gaylesville, AL, Penny & Billy W. Bramlett, Ellijay, Barbara Lambert, Ellijay; Sister-in-law: Cheryl Zellenger, Ellijay; Several nieces & nephews also survive.

A service is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Lung Association in Georgia at 2452 Spring Road SE Smyrna, GA 30080 or at www.lung.org in memory of Mrs. Jett.
