Mr. Roy Clay Fowler age 75 of Ellijay died Sunday July 1, 2012.
Mr. Fowler was born on April 19, 1937 in Gilmer Co. He is the son of the late Clarence Fowler and Nettie Jane Kimmons Fowler. He was a brick mason, a US Army Veteran and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include: Brothers: Charles, L.C. & Ruel Fowler all of Ellijay; Sister: Letha Weaver, Ellijay; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 4, 2012 at 11am from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Wheeler, Rev. Larry Stover & Rev. Jeff Hollifield officiating.
Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Tuesday July 3, 2012 from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
