On Tuesday, June 17th, FYN had reports of a temporary roadblock on 515 and for all citizens to be on the lookout for a suspicious vehicle that could be carrying a rolling meth lab. East Ellijay Police Chief Greg Arp later confirmed with FYN that the report was true and a vehicle was searched but nothing had been found. Afterwards, the roadblock was cleared so that traffic could resume driving.
FYN wants to remind everyone to always be on the lookout for suspicious activity and to always drive safely.
