Ozal Crook Henson age 88, of the Turniptown Community of Ellijay, passed Sunday, July 22, 2012 from the Gilmer Nursing Home. Survivors include daughter; Brenda Henson Edens of Gainesville, GA, son and daughter-in-law; James and Gail Henson of Ellijay, grandchildren; Stephen Edens of Brazelton, GA, Amanda E. Barnett of Gainesville, GA, Matthew Henson and Zachery Henson of Ellijay, and six great grandchildren, sisters; Dorothy Crook Fox of Ball Ground, GA, Louise Crook Wilbanks of Newnan, GA, brothers and sisters-in-law; Raymond Crook of Ellijay, GA, Grady & Edith Crook Crook of Ellijay.
Funeral servicies will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Leon Petitt and Rev. Lewis Payne. Graveside interment service will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home.
