Dee D. Rice : Obituary

Dee D. Rice age 70, of the Coosawattee Community, Ellijay passed Thursday morning, August 2nd, 2012.Mr. Rice was born on November 6, 1941, in Milwaukee, WI, to his late parents Clarence Dale and Erma E. Hinton Rice. He is a graduate of York High School class of 1959 and Findley College receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation he taught school for a period of time before entering employment with the Goodyear Tire Company. He retired from the Lexington Components Company of Georgia.

Survivors include wife of 49 years Judy Clark Rice of the home in Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law; Terri and Mark Kimpel of Westfield, IN, son and daughter-in-law; Scott and Patti Rice of Shipshewana, IN, grandson and step grandson; Joshua Kimpel of Westfield, IN and Travis Fillmore of Shipshewana, IN.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5th, 2012 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with officiating and vocals by Dr. David Clark and Scott Eaton.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 5th, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
