THANK YOU GILMER COUNTY

Announcements, Legal Notice

I would like to sincerely thank each and every voter who voted for me in this election. I am humbled and overwhelmed with the outcome. I take this overwhelming victory as a mandate from the citizens to continue to provide professional law enforcement to Gilmer County. I do not take the trust you have placed in me lightly; I will not let you down. There are so many people who went above and beyond for me during this campaign and I am afraid to try and name them all, as I’m certain I would leave someone out. Those who hosted the five community meet and greets at their homes, everyone who worked on the county-wide rally/barbeque, everyone who allowed me to place a sign in their yard or on their property, everyone who “beat the bushes” for me, and everyone that contributed money to the campaign, simply saying thank you doesn’t even scratch the surface of my gratitude. It’s with your help, no matter how big or small, that I was able to claim a huge victory on July 31st.

I do, however, want to publicly thank Melissa Waddell for her tireless efforts and for being one of my biggest fans. I want to thank my wife, Cynthia, and children for their tremendous support of me as this was a trying summer for all of us.

I do want to ask one more thing of the voters. There are two very important outstanding elections to be settled in the August 21st runoff. Please go vote.

Again, thank you to everyone who supported me in any way. You’ll never know how much it means to me and my family. May God bless each and every one of you. As always, never hesitate to contact me if you have a need. I am still YOUR SHERIFF and I will always have an open door.

Respectfully,

Sheriff Stacy Nicholson
