In the wake of his plea this morning Jerry Fairst gave the following response.

“This was a family decision to take the plea offering and, put an end to the drama that has surrounded these accusations for years, rather than go to trial, because it permits me to honestly state that I have not been convicted of a felony once I successfully complete the terms of sentence. This is a double edge sword in order to get what I want I must give them what they want.”
